The definition of Mean pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP)

Pulmonary arterial pressure is a measure of the blood pressure found in the pulmonary artery. Mean pulmonary arterial pressure can be described by: PAP = (cardiac output x pulmonary vascular resistance) + pulmonary venous pressure.
